About Life Choices Counseling
Linda Pagenkopf is a licensed independent clinical social worker with an excellent professional reputation within the counseling and child welfare communities as a therapeutic clinician; assisting others in their journey ranging from family, child, and individual counseling, attachment, pre and post adoption, grief and loss, career and life transitions, women’s issues, and compassion fatigue, to counseling for veterans and their families.
She has worked in the Fargo/Moorhead, Detroit Lakes area for over 15 years and provides clients with the highest quality of compassion, non-judgmental understanding, along with an array of tools and expertise, to bring about positive outcomes. Her background includes solution focused therapy, the Intensive In-home Preservation Program, with the belief system that the family is the place to resolve family problems. Another area is working with pre and post adoption dynamics, to include foster and adoptive parents. She also provides professional consultations and has been a volunteer with the Family Readiness Program.
Having adopted her youngest child in addition to her years of adoption experience she understands the miracles and the challenges, and is responsive to the dynamics of pre and post adoption.
